Guidlines for Post-Treatment
Endodontic treatment has been completed, and the root canal system has been permanently sealed. The outer surface of the tooth may have been placed with a temporary restoration. Your anesthetic may take a few hours to wear off. The filling will take about an hour to set. Please avoid eating or drinking during this time. We recommend that you schedule your restorative appointment with your dentist within two weeks to prevent reinfection or fracture. You can brush and floss as normal unless instructed otherwise.
If a permanent filling has been placed, you may eat, drink, and continue your hygiene routine as usual.
A complete report of treatment will be sent to your restorative dentist.
